Tender Care Learning Academy in Wilmington and New Castle, DE is seeking an experienced Lead Teacher to engage and inspire all children to be lifelong learners. The position requires organization, creativity, and dedication to the profession, with a focus on nurturing both children and families.

The ideal candidate will have TECE I & II or CDA with Delaware First certification, and an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Qualifications

• Completion of TECE I & II or CDA with Delaware First certification.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development.
• High School or equivalent required; CDA/TECE I & II preferred.
• Courses in Curriculum Planning and Classroom Management.
• Lead Teacher responsibilities include direct daily care and curriculum implementation.

• Foster age-appropriate socialization and positive behavior.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules and manners.
