Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a passionate Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team in Chapel Hill, NC. You will create a welcoming classroom space for infants to preschoolers, implement our LEAP Curriculum, and partner with families to support each child’s growth and learning.

Qualifications

• One year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required).
• Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required).
• Ability to create engaging, welcoming classrooms and communicate with parents.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow.
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with infants, toddlers, or preschool children to meet each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children's adventures and progress via apps and discussions.
• Partner with daycare staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic learning environment.
