Job summary

La Petite Academy in Tucson, AZ is seeking an energetic Lead Teacher to develop engaging learning experiences and mentor fellow teachers. You will lead classroom management and curriculum implementation while ensuring licensing guidelines are met, and build strong relationships with families to support student success.

The role emphasizes a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for ongoing training and benefit programs. This position is based on-site at our Tucson center.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements for the childcare center.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Lead in classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build genuine relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support the center’s success.
