Job summary

La Petite Academy in Tampa is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and inspire preschoolers while mentoring fellow teachers. You will design engaging learning activities, support physical, social, and intellectual growth, and ensure classroom safety and licensing compliance.

You’ll communicate with enrolled families, build strong relationships, and contribute to a positive, energetic center culture. Experience leading a classroom and creating lesson plans is required; a passion for early childhood

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and center success.
