The Goddard School at 161 Millburn Avenue in Millburn, NJ is hiring a Lead Teacher to drive engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons using our Wonder of Learning program. You will lead daily activities, foster a nurturing classroom, and collaborate with a supportive team to help children flourish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in licensed settings preferred.
• State-required pre-service training completed.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using our proprietary curriculum.
• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain open, positive communication with families about progress and activities.
• Supervise children to uphold health, safety and licensing standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills.
• Observe and document children's learning to share insights with families.
• Support and collaborate with Assistant and Resource Teachers.
• Model positive guidance to support social-emotional growth.
