Job summary

Orange County Rescue Mission seeks an educator to supervise and support the social-emotional well-being of children at Village of Hope. You will implement behavior plans, train staff, and collaborate with families to ensure safe, nurturing classrooms.

The role requires coordinating with ABA providers, maintaining records, and supporting students through IEP meetings, while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Education and training in applied behavior analysis or related field.
• Ability to read safety rules and operational instructions.
• Ability to document progress and prepare routine reports.
• Strong communication with staff, parents, and students.

Responsibilities

• Remain focused on children’s safety and emotional well-being during field trips and in Village of Hope.
• Communicate challenges to supervisor as they arise; design and deliver behavior intervention training.
• Implement individualized behavior support plans for children in PCE.
• Establish and maintain relationships with parents, school staff, and ABA providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain confidential records.
