Job description

The Teddy Bear Club is a prestigious bilingual French-English private preschool with two beautiful wooded campuses in Newton and Lincoln, MA. We are seeking a lead preschool teacher to join our toddler class.

This is a full-time position, weekdays from 8:15am to 4:30pm. TBC's program is taught bilingually, with some activities in French and many others in English. French language proficiency is ideal, but candidates with even just a basic knowledge of French are also strongly encouraged to apply!

In this position, you will be part of a co-teaching team in our toddler class and will be responsible for working with students, teaching lessons, communicating with parents, and preparing activities. Candidates for this position:

1. Must have a passion for working with young children and be highly enthusiastic
2. Must be organized and detail-oriented
3. Must enjoy working in a very team-oriented environment
4. Must speak basic French or better
5. Ideally have previous experience working in a school setting
6. Ideally are an EEC certified toddler and/or preschool teacher
