Job summary

Primrose School of Sprayberry at East Cobb in Marietta, GA, is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide infants through preschool ages, fostering curiosity, creativity and compassion while supporting children's learning growth.

In a safe, nurturing classroom, you’ll implement Balanced Learning curriculum, build relationships with each child, and collaborate with a co-teacher and Leadership Team to create a thriving learning environment.

Qualifications

• CDA/TCC/Associates/BS education required.
• Previous teaching experience in licensed early childhood education.
• Knowledge of social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.

Responsibilities

• Spend your days building genuine relationships with each child.
• Help children learn about language and literacy, science, life skills, and more.
• Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the Balanced Learning curriculum.
• Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and build confidence.
• Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.

• Hourly compensation is $16.00 to $20.00, depending on experience and education
• Set Schedule Monday- Friday
  • 7:30am-4:30pm

Qualifications:

• Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency
  • Child Development Associate (CDA), TCC, Associates, or BS in related field
• Previous teaching experience in a licensed early childhood education, PreK, daycare, child care or similar
• Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
