Job summary

New Horizon Academy in Urbandale, IA is seeking energetic, nurturing teachers to inspire a love of learning in young children. Join a caring team that supports growth, exploration, and joyful discovery in beautifully equipped classrooms.

Wage range for this role is $16.10-$21.35 per hour, depending on experience and education, with shifts between 6:30am and 6:00pm. We participate in the WAGE$ program and offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401K with company match,

Qualifications

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Has a passion for working with young children.
• Has interest in beginning or continuing their education in early childhood education or a related field.
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Has the documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
