Job description

We are seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team and provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our young learners. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development. You will also be responsible for maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship with parents and other staff members, ensuring that all children receive the best possible care and education.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
• CPL III or Child Development Associate Certificate upon hire
• Ability to pass BCI / FBI and ODJFS Background Check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and parents

Preferred Qualifications :

• Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field with 1+ years experience
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities :

• Observe and assess children's progress, and communicate regularly with parents about their child's development.
