The Gardner Schoolis a state-of-the-art, educational program for young children and their families. We have a supportive environment for staff with competitive pay and benefits. Ideal candidates will have some college education and some experience with young children.

Responsibilities:

● Greet each child by name and acknowledge parents during drop off and pick up times daily.

● Ensure the safety of each child.

● Maintain confidentiality of school directives, curriculum and software.

● Read, understand and implement all policies and procedures of The Gardner School and all State Licensing Agencies.

● Maintain professional and positive relationships with the parents and coworkers.

● Advise the Director or Assistant Director of any supplies needed for the upcoming months.

● Follow the standards set forth for the conduct and responsibilities of all staff members who come in contact with children.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Associates Degree or CDA a must (BS or BA degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education or related degree preferred)
  • 2+ years 2-3 years of previous experience working with children
  • Must love working with children and have a loving and nurturing personality.
  • Excellent communication skills, including personal face-to-face communications with parents, staff, and children.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Pediatric first aid and CPR certification
