Job summary

The Goddard School of North Penn, PA is seeking Founding Faculty to help shape a brand-new school. You will implement a developmentally appropriate Wonder of Learning curriculum, lead daily activities, and foster a nurturing environment where children thrive.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA credential preferred.
• 1-2 years of prior experience with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred.
• Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in relation to handling children.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using the Wonder of Learning curriculum to support each child's growth.
• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain open, effective communication with families about their child's progress and daily activities.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to uphold health and safety standards and licensing regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
• Observe, assess and document children's learning to inform activities and share insights with families.
• Support Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Model and implement positive guidance strategies to support social-emotional growth and conflict resolution

Lead Teacher Key Responsibilities
