Job summary

Metropolitan Market is seeking a Prepared Foods leader to support the Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader with product management, safety, quality, merchandising, and profitability within production. You will educate guests and team members on product selections and meal solutions, while guiding the production staff to uphold standards.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of kitchen management or sous-chef experience.
• At least one year supervising five or more team members.
• Minimum three years of customer service experience.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with urgency.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product displays to drive guest interest and sales.
• Oversee production operations, ensuring quality, labeling, inventory control.
• Train and coach team members, provide performance feedback.
• Assist in ordering and managing cost of goods and labor.
• Support promotions and sustain high food safety standards.
