The Goddard School of Gambrills, MD is seeking energetic Infant/Toddler teachers for our infant/Young Toddler and two's programs. You will lead with a co-lead, design age-appropriate lessons, and maintain a clean, organized classroom while communicating with families.

Responsibilities include observations, portfolio building, and supporting children's development with positive guidance. Qualifications include multiple certifications or degrees and reliable transportation.

Competenze

• All candidates must have one or more of the following: 90 hours Certification in Early Childhood
• 45 hours Infant/Toddler Certification
• Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development or a related field
• ADA, Basic Health & Safety, SIDS & Breastfeeding certificates
• Proof of current and active enrollment in an accredited Associates or Bachelor’s degree

Mansioni

• Care and education of a group of children as lead teacher with a co-lead
• Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
• Keep classroom organized and clean; communicate with parents in person and in writing
• Do quarterly observations and monthly portfolios
• Support each child's social and emotional development with positive guidance and family relations

Conoscenze

Experience with young children

Tablet literacy

English language proficiency

Reliable transportation

Formazione

Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field
