Job summary

Little Sprout Preschool in Phoenix seeks a full-time teacher to support children ages 3 to 6. You will implement the curriculum, coach peers, and lead activities that foster social, cognitive, and emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Must clear full background check and health screening.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Minimum 2 years of professional childcare experience in a group setting.
• Strong oral and written communication; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement provided educational curriculum in collaboration with teaching staff, incorporating flexibility for teacher input.
• Set an example of excellence and encourage the teaching team to strive for success through coaching and mentorship.
• Develop and lead engaging activities to promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children.
• Maintain open communication with parents through regular discussions, Brightwheel interactions, and parent-teacher conferences as needed.
• Ensure compliance with center policies and state regulations at all times.
• Establish and maintain a healthy classroom environment, prioritizing hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Supervise teacher assistants to ensure adherence to planned activities, safety standards, and best practices.
• Manage accurate records, forms, and files to maintain organizational standards.
• Develop a personal professional development plan to drive continuous quality improvement.
• Participate in regular team meetings and staff bonding events to foster a sense of community.
