Qualifications

• Minimum two years of preschool experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Negative TB test required.
• Understanding of Reggio Emilia philosophy is a plus.
• Associate or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Awareness of Emergent Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines.
• Provide open communication with students, parents, and coworkers.
• Plan meaningful lessons each week.
• Navigate transitions with students in positive, fun ways.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness.
• Write weekly newsletters.
• Maintain class documentation board.
• Create student learning portfolios.
• Follow ECERS and CLASS assessment standards (training provided).
