The Goddard School in Deerfield, IL is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our state-of-the-art early childhood program. You will help establish a safe, nurturing learning environment and engage children in play.

Collaborating with the lead teacher and staff, you will support social and emotional development, provide positive guidance, and contribute to a joyful, educational experience for every child.

Qualifications

• Understand and support the education program using learning through play.
• Interact closely with children at their level.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with school personnel, children and parents.
• Comply with childcare laws and regulations.
• Lift up to 50 lbs during activity and safety procedures.
