Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector II to lead plant quality control for precast and prestressed production, and to perform owner and agency inspections for DOT and structural programs. You will verify prestressing operations and review mix designs and strength records.

Responsibilities include accepting or rejecting finished products, maintaining QC records as required by PCI and DOT, supervising Level I inspectors, and coordinating travel between plants for

Qualifications

• Must have PCI Level II certification and 2+ years in a certified precast or prestressed plant.
• ACI certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience supervising Level I inspectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant QC for precast and prestressed production and inspections for DOT/owner programs.
• Verify prestressing operations, review mix designs and strength records.
• Accept or reject finished products and maintain PCI/DOT QC records.
• Supervise Level I inspectors and coordinate daily coverage and records.
