Job summary

Discovery Point is hiring a Lead Teacher in Tennessee to plan and deliver lessons under approved curriculum, fostering social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. The role emphasizes safety, positive family relations, and adherence to all policies.

You will guide other staff, maintain a structured daily schedule, and ensure a caring, professional learning environment for children and families within our Discovery Point centers.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum.
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
• Ability to obtain CPR/Fire Safety training and other required training.
• Must have CDA/degree in ECE.

Responsibilities

• Implement weekly curricula addressing all learning goals.
• Provide direction to other staff in classroom.
• Organize and adhere to a daily schedule.
• Adhere to state and Discovery Point policies and regulations.
• Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and management.
• Maintain a welcoming, upbeat classroom atmosphere.
