Rooted in New England and built on craftsmanship and sustainability, we're growing fast and looking for a hands-on Team Lead to support and guide our production floor.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, and knows how to bring out the best in a team.

What You'll Do

• Lead day-to-day operations for the ink mixing and pre-press departments.
• Coordinate and stage inks a day in advance for all departments; ensure formulas are accurate and materials are blended thoroughly.
• Troubleshoot print and ink issues in real-time to minimize downtime and maintain top-tier output.
• Train, mentor, and guide production staff on best practices, safety standards, and quality control.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to keep everything running smoothly.
• Monitor inventory, conduct monthly ink counts, and support improvement initiatives.
• Serve as the backup to the Department Manager, with the potential to grow into a full leadership position.

What You Bring

• Prior experience with pre-press and/or ink technician, or similar role in a commercial print or manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to lead a team and foster a collaborative, quality-focused environment.
• Working knowledge of inks, substrates, screen/offset/flexo/digital press systems.
• Sharp eye for detail, , registration, and finish quality.
• Strong computer skills; Adobe Illustrator knowledge is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort performing preventative maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and handle repetitive tasks.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of hands-on print production or ink mixing experience.
• Previous leadership or shift lead experience strongly .
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
