Niskayuna Community Day Care Center in Schenectady, NY is in search of a dedicated Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to become part of our team. Our center is firmly committed to cultivating a nurturing setting where children aged 4-5 can thrive. As a Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a vital role in igniting curiosity, nurturing creativity, and fostering a love for learning in our youngest students. Offering an appealing hourly wage of $19.50, you will be embraced by a close-knit community that prioritizes collaboration and ongoing professional development. Compensation: $19.50 per hour, negotiable depending on experience and level of qualification

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement interactive lesson plans and activities tailored for pre-kindergarten students.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Conduct assessments to track student progress and maintain open communication with parents and caregivers.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

Compensation

$19.50 hourly

Niskayuna Community Day Care Center is a small, not-for-profit organization that has been serving Niskayuna and surrounding area families for over 30 years. We are a play-based Center that focuses on providing a safe and healthy environment for children 18 months-5 years old to learn and grow throughout their day. We are currently running with four open classrooms but we hope to open other classrooms when we have more quality staff that we can trust.
