Job summary

The Sunshine House in Kennesaw, GA is hiring a GA Pre K Lead Teacher to help deliver the Georgia Pre‑K curriculum and create a safe, engaging classroom for young learners. You will support the lead teacher with lesson planning, instruction, and family engagement in a warm, family‑oriented preschool environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or teaching credential required/preferred.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in education/Teaching certificate preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks & health assessments.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in licensed childcare.

Responsibilities

• Help implement the Georgia Pre-K curriculum to prepare children for kindergarten.
• Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Assist the lead teacher in preparing lesson plans and instructing children in age-appropriate activities.
• Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.
• Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!

Education
