Job summary

INIC Preschool is seeking a dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher to foster a loving, safe, and educational environment for 4- to 5-year-olds. You will report to the Director and Assistant Director, collaborate with a classroom assistant, and communicate regularly with families.

The role involves planning engaging activities, supervising daily routines, and maintaining clean, organized classrooms in accordance with state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Pre-K classroom.
• Strong communication with families.
• Knowledge of safety and health guidelines for early childhood.
• Ability to plan developmentally appropriate activities for 4-5 year olds.

Responsibilities

• Manage one classroom of 4-5 year old children.
• Create a learning environment conducive to exploration and development.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to foster curiosity.
• Engage children in academic, sensory, neuromotor, audiomotor, and physical activities.
• Guide children through completing academic work.
• Ensure meals and handwashing routines are followed.
• Maintain accurate classroom records and communications with parents.
• Collaborate with the classroom assistant andDirector's team.
