Qualifications

• High school diploma required; ECE degree preferred or in progress.
• Associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education required/preferred.
• CDA certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in licensed setting.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and meet state health/safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: Implement age-appropriate lesson plans with Wonder of Learning.
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
• Family Communication: Maintain open, positive updates on child progress.
• Health and Safety: Supervise activities and ensure licensing compliance.
• Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training to improve teaching skills.
• Assessment and Documentation: Observe and document child growth for families.
• Team Collaboration: Support assistants and resource teachers in daily tasks.
• Behavior Guidance: Model positive guidance for social-emotional growth.
