Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• 21 years of age or older. Exception: Lead teachers with a valid Bachelor degree or higher teaching credential do not have to meet the minimum 21.
• Must be able to meet all state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares lesson plans based on approved Georgia Pre-k Curriculum and teaches age-appropriate activities.
• Manages a classroom of 22 children with Para-Pro Assistant Teacher.
• Maintains classroom safety, cleanliness, and readiness for tours.
• Documents injuries or accidents and reports to Management.
• Contributes to parent conferences and provides daily feedback to families.
• Maintains confidentiality of all information on children and families.
