Job summary

Celebree School of Rockville is seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher to inspire curiosity and learning in a nurturing classroom. You will support a mission-driven culture, supervise classroom Aides, and help grow teams across early childhood education.

The role emphasizes developmentally appropriate planning, family communication, and a welcoming, safe, and inclusive space for preschoolers to explore and learn through play.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in Early Childhood Education.
• High school diploma required; CDA credential or higher preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

Job Summary

As a Lead Preschool Teacher at Celebree School™ you'll be at the heart of the action, creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that sparks curiosity and ignites young minds. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster learning, curiosity, and exploration among preschool-aged children.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where preschoolers feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves and learn through play.
• Integrate language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy experiences into daily routines to help preschoolers develop communication skills, vocabulary, and a love of reading.
• Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom environment, including materials, equipment, and play areas, to support optimal learning and exploration.
• Establish open and ongoing communication with parents, sharing insights, updates, and progress on their child's development

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required; a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in Early Childhood Education.
• In-depth understanding of child development and behavior, as well as familiarity with childcare licensing regulations, is essential.
• Must possess strong classroom management abilities, including excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills. Patience and flexibility are also key attributes for success in this role. Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
