Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Chipset Power System Engineer to solve power challenges and optimize power for Snapdragon Compute Chipsets. Lead cross-functional teams to model SOC power and develop innovations for low power consumption.

The role involves power architecture, modeling, and collaboration across systems, software, hardware, and silicon teams to achieve world-class efficiency. Multiple locations offered with compensation determined by location and title.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in power/low power features.
• Experience with SOC or platform-level power modeling and analysis.
• Architectural knowledge of application/modem processors, AR/XR, ML, mobile or computing.
• System-level power modeling and analysis experience.
• Understanding of machine learning networks for compute applications.

Responsabilidades

• Power architecture and tradeoff analysis.
• Chipset and system level power modeling, analysis and optimization for SOC, chipset and platform solutions.
• Identify power requirements and quantify power gap/risk areas.
• Optimize power efficiency and performance of present generation designs and help architect future products.
• Guide multi-function groups through the design cycle to meet power targets.
• Design of power features and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Customer interaction to advertise capabilities and understand specific power requirements.
• Power modeling of customer-specific use cases and designs.
