Job summary

Dynamics Door is seeking a Lead Power Platform Developer to drive automation, reporting, and process improvements. You’ll lead design and development of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions while remaining hands-on and mentoring other developers.

In this role, you’ll work with stakeholders to gather requirements, break them into technical tasks, and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions. Experience with Dataverse, Azure, SQL, and Dynamics 365 F&O is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Technical lead or senior developer experience including mentoring others.
• Ability to lead technical delivery while staying hands-on.
• Design scalable MS apps, automations, and reporting within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Experience with SQL, Dataverse, Azure, or related Microsoft tech.
• D365 Finance & Operations experience is a plus.
• Fabric experience is a plus.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and technical teams.

Job description

We're looking for a Lead Power Platform Developer to help drive process improvements, automation, and reporting initiatives across the business. The company is live on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and is focused on increasing efficiency by leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. This is a hands-on technical lead role. You'll be responsible for developing solutions while also providing technical direction to other developers, assigning development tasks, reviewing work, and helping ensure solutions are built consistently and according to best practices. This is not a people management position.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and development of solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Remain hands-on with development while providing technical guidance to other developers.
• Break down business requirements into technical deliverables and assign development tasks across the team.
• Review developers' work and provide guidance around solution design, development standards, and best practices.
• Help oversee development activities to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and delivered effectively.
• Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities to streamline processes and eliminate manual work.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and executive KPIs.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft technologies, including Dataverse, Azure, and Dynamics 365 F&O where appropriate.
• Help establish development standards and best practices across Power Platform solutions.
• Support the modernization of the company's reporting and analytics environment, with Microsoft Fabric experience considered a plus.

• Ability to lead technical delivery while remaining actively involved in development.
• Experience designing scalable business applications, automations, and reporting solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Experience with SQL, Dataverse, Azure, or related Microsoft technologies.
• Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience is a plus.
• Microsoft Fabric experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with both business stakeholders and technical team members.
