Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. seeks a Lead Power Engineer to maintain a detailed understanding of electric power systems, including protection, monitoring and control, and to develop papers for conferences and seminars.
You will lead power engineering support for customers and field application engineers, serve as project technical lead, and contribute to new product ideas while applying SEL values and manufacturing principles.
As a Lead Power Engineer a typical day might include: Maintaining a detailed understanding of electric power systems and how to protect, monitor and control the power system. Developing papers on innovative power system protection solutions & present at conferences & seminars. Conceiving and developing concepts for new product ideas and enhancements. Lead efforts in providing power engineering support for customers & field application engineers. Serving as project technical lead. Modeling, teaching and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. Embracing the mindset: Understand. Create. Simplify. Other duties as assigned.
Pay Range Data: $101,900 - $150,600 annually.
We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job and responsibility. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
