Job summary

VSG Business Solutions LLC is seeking a Lead Power BI Developer to design, develop, and deliver modern Power BI reporting solutions. You will lead a small team, set standards, and coordinate with data engineers and ETL developers to source data from BigQuery data marts.

You will mentor 4+ developers, ensure governance and accessibility, and produce documentation to support enterprise reporting needs. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience developing Power BI reports in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with ETL and Reporting/BI tools.
• Proven Technical Lead for a team of 4+ developers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong data modeling and data visualization for enterprise reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization of legacy reporting into Power BI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to 4+ developers.
• Collaborate with data engineers and ETL developers to ensure accurate data sourcing from BigQuery.
• Develop accessible, visually effective reports aligned with governance standards.
• Produce technical documentation, report specifications, and support materials.
• Ensure testing and validation for accuracy and consistency.
• Gather requirements and verify data elements with stakeholders.
