Job summary

Pilgrims is seeking a Feed Mill Supervisor to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced production environment in Natchitoches, Louisiana. You will oversee feed mill maintenance, scheduling, supervision, and evaluation of work, while ensuring safety, quality, sanitation, budgeting, and productivity.

This hands-on leadership role emphasizes data-driven process coordination and continuous improvement, with opportunities to grow within a global food company committed to excellence.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in poultry industry.
• 2 to 5 years of Commercial Feed experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Working knowledge of bag feed operations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners.
• Able to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor feed sampling.
• Monitor preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment and machinery are functioning properly.
• Complete all paperwork and reports associated with mill.
• Match feed delivery tickets, etc.
• Minimal travel is required.
• Routine discomforts from exposure to moderate heat, cold, moisture/wetness, and unpleasant air conditions.
• May involve routine exposure to soiled materials and light chemical substances such as cleaning solutions.
• Oversee safety, quality, sanitation, budgeting, and productivity while driving continuous improvement through data analysis and process coordination.
