The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center's Muto Lab in the Department of Internal Medicine invites applications for a postdoctoral training position. The lab combines wet-lab techniques with advanced multi-omics to uncover gene regulatory mechanisms driving kidney disease progression.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have expertise in mouse colony maintenance, cell biology, molecular biology and/or mouse genetics; a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree is required.

Responsibilities

• The fellow will take a leading role in one or two projects, including interrogating amino acid metabolism in renal tubular epithelia with multimodal approaches.
• The role may involve single cell multiomics analysis and potentially spatial omics to study normal and diseased kidneys.
