Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field; FE exam and PE license; 7+ years’ structural experience, or Master’s with 6+ years.
• EPC project experience preferred.
• Expert knowledge of engineering techniques and design codes (IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE-7).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading design of large projects and delegating tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design from conceptual phase through design completion for marine structures (piers, wharfs, bulkheads, fender systems).
• Apply knowledge of codes and procedures to complex projects.
• Mentor teams and manage design schedules and budgets.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Lead development of cost proposals and change orders.
