Job Requirements

The City of Onalaska is seeking to hire Lead Pool Attendants. This position is responsible for various tasks including concessions, customer service, and monitoring access to the facility. It is a seasonal, limited-term position with scheduled hours that may vary.

Essential Job Functions

• Monitor access to the facility and sell daily admissions.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries about the facility.
• Check locker rooms and bathrooms, perform cleaning tasks, and follow sanitation laws and policies.
• Enforce department policies regarding admission to the Aquatic Center.
• Prepare food and operate concessions equipment.
• Report inventory status to supervisors.
• Assist in managing daily activities of Aquatic Center staff.
• Follow cash handling policies, balance cash drawers, and develop positive relationships with staff and the public.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Experience and Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Experience in customer service and cash handling required.
• Previous food preparation experience preferred.
• Good communication and organizational skills required.
