Job summary
Jobot seeks a visionary polymer chemist and/or material scientist with a track record of success to join our Corona, CA lab on-site. This role drives research, formulation development, and material performance across polymer and textile technologies, reporting to the CTO and collaborating with engineers and operators.
Relocation is available. You will own polymer product design, processing, and testing, expanding our capabilities in silicone and organic rubbers, ensuring quality and regulatory
Qualifications
- 5+ years in polymer formulation development.
- 5+ years in polymer manufacturing.
- Superior data analysis and report writing experience.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop new polymer formulations for new product market launches working directly with technical leadership.
- Implement and control of all polymer production compounds.
- Optimize polymer products by studying customer requirements; testing methods and materials; benchmarking against competition.
- Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Assist Engineering in optimizing polymer production processes.
- Maintain product compliance and communication with government requirements.
