Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Aviation Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) to support our national aviation team.

This role involves managing the planning, coordination, and implementation of BHS projects, providing regular updates to stakeholders, and occasional travel to major airline hubs. A full-time on-site presence is required to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with aviation baggage handling system project management/implementation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills, including proficiency in creating client presentations.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of TSA's Planning Guidelines and Design Standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for airport leadership.
• Collaborate with TSA Regional Deployment Coordinators and associated contract personnel.
• Lead and manage construction and implementation teams.
• Resolve issues between the design team and construction/implementation teams.
• Organize and document project meetings.
• Lead stakeholder and operational engagement; coordinate, proactively communicate, resolve conflicts, and report.
• Review design team responses to RFIs and submittals for compliance with contract documents.
• Attend commissioning and testing of BHS systems to ensure adherence to contract requirements, TSA standards, and other guidelines.
• Develop and monitor project schedules and deliverables.
• Review and process changes through the Change Management process.
• Coordinate all BHS elements with other program elements including design, schedule, cost, procurement, changes, reporting, installation, ORAT, commissioning, and close-out
