Job summary

Quality Service Company, LLC in Florence, SC is seeking an experienced Lead Plumbing Technician to join our service team. You will diagnose problems, perform repairs, and guide less-experienced technicians while upholding our standards of quality and customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of residential or light commercial plumbing experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of residential and/or light commercial plumbing experience.
• Strong plumbing troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls from diagnosis through completion
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and industry-standard repair practices

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial plumbing problems
• Troubleshoot leaks, drainage issues, water pressure problems, and fixture failures
• Repair and replace faucets, toilets, sinks, disposals, valves, piping, and other plumbing components
• Install and service traditional and tankless water heaters
• Perform water and drain line repairs and replacements
• Complete plumbing work associated with remodels, renovations, and additions
• Provide customers with clear explanations of plumbing problems and recommended solutions
• Assist with complex service calls and technical troubleshooting
• Help train and mentor apprentice and junior plumbing technicians
• Ensure work complies with applicable plumbing codes and company standards
• Maintain accurate service records, job notes, and material documentation
• Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and properly maintained
• Follow OSHA requirements and company safety procedures
• Work closely with office staff to ensure excellent customer service from start to finish

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience

Quality Service Company is looking for an experienced Lead Plumbing Technician to join our growing service team. We're looking for a skilled plumber who can confidently diagnose problems, perform quality repairs and installations, communicate well with customers, and provide guidance to less-experienced technicians when needed.

What You’ll Do

As a Lead Plumbing Technician, you'll handle residential and light commercial plumbing service calls while helping set the standard for workmanship and customer service in the field.
