Overview

Sierra Air is seeking motivated plumbers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 3-5 years’ plumbing experience, integrity, the ability to build and maintain relationships, and the ability to effectively offer the best solutions for our customers' plumbing needs. The company offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates. Income: $26-$35 per hour, depending on experience, plus commissions. Available shifts: Monday – Friday, Tuesday – Saturday, or Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain pipes, valves, drainage systems, and fixtures in residential structures
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, code compliance and functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Prepare cost estimates
• Collect payment for services rendered when required
• Follow through on job problems and communicate issues with Dispatch
• Keep abreast of all company sales promotions and pricing
• Attend training classes and seminars to maintain expertise in the field

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ plumbing experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Valid driver license and insurable driving record
• Must pass drug and background screens
• Ability to work independently and self-manage
• Able to adapt to new roles and responsibilities
• General sales skills and aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient with technology

Physical Demands / Working Conditions

• Work will be performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, in various weather conditions, including temperatures above 100 degrees, snow, and other inclement weather
• Work at heights, on ladders, in small spaces, and on rooftops
• Frequent standing, squatting, and sitting for extended periods
• Occasionally lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders and balance
• Regularly use hands to handle and feel objects
• Sit, walk, stoop, stand; see clearly at close and distant ranges
