Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a high-energy Plumbing Engineer to join their Building Mechanical team in Washington, D.C. You will design innovative plumbing solutions for heavy industrial clients, working with engineers to conduct field investigations and prepare construction design packages.

The ideal candidate will have a Professional Engineering License and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k), unlimited paid time off, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• At least eight (8) years’ experience in the design of plumbing systems.
• Ability to adapt and work within a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong accountability for schedule and technical quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria for plumbing systems.
• Layout and design plumbing systems including sanitary sewer and potable water.
• Prepare final design documents including specifications.

Skills

Professional Engineering License
