Five Star Home Services is seeking an experienced Plumbing Install Lead to take ownership of residential plumbing installations and lead a crew in Ohio. You will oversee job execution, safety, quality, and customer experience while mentoring apprentices and installers.

The role is hands-on and requires leading from the front, ensuring projects meet Five Star standards, with opportunities for growth and a take-charge approach.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional plumbing experience.
• Ability to independently complete and lead residential plumbing installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and codes.
• Ability to read job specifications and determine installation methods.
• Strong troubleshooting and field problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and coach less-experienced team members.
• Strong customer communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Leading and performing residential plumbing installations, replacements, and system upgrades.
• Reviewing job scope, equipment, materials, and installation requirements before beginning work.
• Installing and replacing water heaters, fixtures, piping, drains, water lines, and other residential plumbing systems.
• Directing and working alongside Installers, Apprentices, and Helpers assigned to the project.
• Troubleshooting installation challenges and making sound field decisions.
• Ensuring installations meet codes and Five Star quality standards.
• Testing completed systems and verifying proper operation.
• Protecting the customer's home and maintaining a clean, organized jobsite.
• Communicating professionally with homeowners throughout the installation.
• Accurately documenting completed work and materials.
• Training and developing less-experienced team members.
