Job summary

John Christopher Construction in Southern California seeks a Lead Plumber/Foreman to run residents and light commercial plumbing projects. You will lead crews, pull permits, and run jobs with autonomy, earning a path to division profit sharing as the team expands.

You will oversee rough-in to finish, ensure plans are followed, and coordinate with PMs, GCs, and inspectors to keep work progressing smoothly while mentoring junior plumbers.

Qualifications

• Must have proven field leadership as foreman or lead.
• Extensive hands-on residential and commercial plumbing experience.
• Able to read plans and execute layouts.
• Experience pulling permits and coordinating inspections.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus for field leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing crews through rough-in, top-out, and finish to code and company standards.
• Interpret architectural/plumbing plans and execute layouts with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate daily schedules with PMs, GC, and inspectors to keep jobs moving.
• Pull permits and manage regulatory inspections on all active sites.
• Mentor junior plumbers to grow crew skills and division output.
• Maintain field ownership of productivity, quality, and safety.
• Partner with leadership to scale division and add crews.
