The candidate must have a high school diploma with vocational training, 5 years in related trades, and be licensed with Georgia driver’s license. Strong reading of blueprints and schematics is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with vocational training; five years in carpentry, electrical wiring, HVAC, electronic systems, plumbing, welding, or related field.
• Must be licensed or possess industrial/commercial certification in the assigned field and have a Georgia driver’s license.
• Able to read blueprints/diagrams/schematics; knowledge of county policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates daily work activities of the assigned crew; organizes tasks and priorities.
• Performs routine plumbing-related facility maintenance; inspects work for quality and safety.
• Places, installs, and tests plumbing equipment; reports results and acts as acting supervisor when needed.
• Inspects systems and performs preventative maintenance; trains staff on procedures and safety.
