Job summary

Siemens AG is seeking a Solution Architect for the Professional Services group in the United States. You will lead end-to-end solution definition and the technical execution of Siemens DI Software implementations across packages and domains, partnering with consultants, PMs, QA, and distributed teams to translate business needs into architecture and to ensure designs are implemented per Siemens standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience from an accredited university; engineering/computer science preferred.
• Experience in Semiconductor, Electronics, Industrial Machinery or Battery industries; advanced degree may substitute for experience.
• Experience designing Teamcenter solutions; familiarity with Enovia, ePDM, Windchill, Aras Innovator or Agile PLM is a plus.
• Excellent presentation skills across audiences; strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to handle tough and ambiguous situations without conflict; drive implementation success.
• Travel up to 50%+ to support customer delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team and customer to deliver project goals.
• Own the entire solution delivered, including work by other team members.
• Ensure Siemens standard methodologies are followed and the functional specification is implemented correctly.
• Advise offshore team on documenting functional specifications.
• Assist Project Managers with estimates, WBS, and scope enforcement.
• Be a trusted advisor to the customer and promote Siemens Best Practices.
• Author project materials detailing implementation information.
• Collaborate with QA to implement the Quality Assurance process.
• Run workshops for Solution Definition and delivery methodology.
• Communicate design direction clearly to team and partners.
• Support proposals, business plans, and specifications preparation.
• Lead customer expectations across the project lifecycle.
