Job summary

Inframark is seeking an Applications Department Manager to lead a team delivering PLC and HMI/SCADA solutions for water and wastewater facilities. You will drive project success, oversee standards compliance, and mentor engineers across domestic and remote projects.

The role requires a strong leadership track record and hands-on experience with PLC/HMI programming and SCADA platforms. The position reports to the Applications Department Director, with responsibility for resource planning, risk

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mechatronics, or electrical engineering is preferred with 7+ years in PLC and HMI/SCADA programming, plus leadership experience.
Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams across projects.
Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA programming in water & wastewater industries is essential.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Applications Department Manager role projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
Oversee development and delivery of PLC and HMI/SCADA solutions, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
Mentor direct reports and drive professional development, training plans, and staffing decisions.
Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, and Field Teams to support technical initiatives and customer proposals.
