Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Lead PLC Controls Technician to oversee field execution, startup, and commissioning of advanced automation systems in mission-critical data centers. This leadership role requires troubleshooting PLCs, coordinating field technicians, and ensuring seamless integration of PLC, SCADA/HMI, and industrial networks.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with PLC controls and industrial automation.
Experience diagnosing PLC programs, I/O, and networks.
Familiarity with SCADA/HMI systems and PLC communications.

Responsibilities

Lead field technicians through PLC installation, startup, and commissioning.
Troubleshoot PLC programming, I/O, networks, and control sequences.
Support SCADA/HMI integration and validation of systems.
Review drawings, diagrams, and commissioning documentation.
Coordinate with engineers and contractors to resolve challenges.
Oversee field safety, quality, and project closeout.
Mentor technicians and provide technical leadership.
