Job summary

TAMKO Building Products LLC is seeking a Control Systems Manager to lead a team of 4–6 PLC Controls Engineers and oversee 6 more across TAMKO’s manufacturing locations. You will drive enterprise-wide PLC programming standards and provide strategic guidance on Siemens platforms.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or electrical systems, 5+ years PLC experience, and 3+ years with Siemens systems. Travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
5+ years of PLC systems experience at an enterprise level.
3+ years of Siemens systems experience.
Past experience managing controls engineers and developing junior staff.
Basic knowledge of continuous web handling production processes.
Strong change leadership and analytical problem solving.

Responsibilities

Oversee PLC programming development and establish standards.
Mentor a team of 4–6 Controls Engineers and oversee 6 more.
Collaborate with Plant Systems, Engineering & Construction, and Manufacturing.
Develop documentation for troubleshooting and maintenance.
Drive TAMKO’s Autopilot Strategic Initiative and new tech adoption.
Coordinate with contractors for equipment specs and system installs.
