Qualifications

• Four‑year minimum apprenticeship in Electrician or Electronics Technician with progression to journey level and one year as Plant Process Control Electrician or equivalent.
• Alternatively six years journey‑level Electrician/Electronics Technician with one year in Plant Process Control at a water/wastewater facility.
• Or an Associate degree in Electronics Technology plus four years journey‑level Electronics Tech experience in water/wastewater.

Responsibilities

• Supervise complex electrical duties related to electro‑mechanical equipment at treatment plants and pumping facilities.
• Coordinate design, modifications and programming on control systems interfacing with process computers.
• Direct staff in PLC and variable frequency drive work and related technical tasks.
