Optomi, in partnership with an industry-leading client, seeks a Lead Platform Engineer to drive reliability, security, automation, and evolution of enterprise infrastructure across cloud and on‑prem environments. Qualifications

• 6+ years of platform engineering/infrastructure experience.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or similar automation/IaC tools.
• Strong scripting skills with Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform strategy and technical direction across infrastructure, cloud, networking, and DevOps environments.

• Design and maintain containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC/configuration management tools.

• Establish and maintain security, resiliency, backup, and disaster recovery standards.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide technical recommendations for new initiatives.
• Partner with engineering, security, operations, and vendors to deliver enterprise platform solutions.

• Background supporting large‑scale enterprise platforms.
