Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC in Melrose Park, IL is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to lead and perform maintenance on plant utilities, clean rooms, and facility systems in an aseptic manufacturing setting.

You will mentor mechanics, coordinate with Sr. Manager, and drive continuous improvement through preventive maintenance and safety compliance, with focus on troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and automation systems and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of related maintenance or facilities experience.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical writing, and understanding of electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of plant utilities and aseptic systems.
• Guide Maintenance Mechanics and coordinate with Sr. Manager.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and manage contractors.
• Document work per SOPs and ensure safety and compliance.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff.
• Collaborate across departments to minimize downtime.
