Athens Services is seeking a Plant Maintenance Lead to manage the maintenance department, supervise mechanics and cleaners, and ensure safe, efficient operation of conveyors, electronics, hydraulics, and related equipment at the MRF facility.

The role requires leadership, bilingual communication, and hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial environment; familiarity with Dossier and maintenance software is a plus. Competitive benefits are offered with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years maintenance experience; support of maintenance department.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and communicating via email.
• Experience implementing safety programs and promoting safe work practices.
• Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee maintenance department with Supervisors/Manager; review repairs and inspections.
• Ensure proper parts inventory management and organization; regular process audits.
• Promote teamwork and safe working behaviors.
• Coach and mentor maintenance staff; foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure maintenance staff have tools, equipment and supplies for daily tasks.
• Encourage the use of technology and systems that improve shop performance (e.g., Dossier).
